GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY

  1. All players and supporters must observe all club notices as may be displayed.
  2. Toilets are available and open on the courses and at the Clubhouses.
  3. Water is safe for drinking and is available from taps on course and for purchase in the ProShop.
  4. All incidents however small, must be reported to the on-site PaR nz Tournament Director and / or the Club Manager / Pro Shop immediately.  Affected parties may be required to complete an incident report.
  5. Care should be taken in the following areas
    1. Car parks
      1. Be aware of your surroundings – all cars and players entering around the car park
      2. Special care on the long winding road to Cape Kidnappers - observe the speed limits.
    2. On Course
      1. Be extra vigilant on all courses – especially the steep slopes on all.  Early morning tee times may have some frost, cold or damp fairways that can be slippery.
      2. Yell ‘fore’ at all times that a ball strays onto another fairway
    3. Clubhouse
      1. Take care in all areas and stairs especially when carrying hot foods and drinks.
  6. Carts – use at all times, at your own risk.  Any damage to carts or property will be entirely at your cost.
    1. All cart instructions displayed on the carts, notifying no-go zones MUST be observed
    2. Carts must not be driven in any rough or fescue areas
    3. Carts must be driven with care at all courses – use of paths at all times is recommended observing the 90o rule
    4. Daily cart conditions may be announced and any no-go areas observed
    5. If for any reason you need to ride back down a fairway, be extra careful of bunkers that have a raised front edge, and therefore invisible travelling a fairway in that direction.
    6. Make sure that brakes are firmly applied at all times
    7. Any improper use of carts will not be tolerated and players may lose the right to use a cart for that day or the rest of the tournament
  7. Public Roadways
    1. Where the course is split by a public roadway – extreme care must be taken crossing the road.  Do not take risks under any circumstances, the traffic is travelling fast.
